- No public list: KAST says to check the country dropdown during sign-up and KYC. If your country is listed, KAST is available; if it is not, it isn't available yet.
- Account vs KYC: you can create an account before your country is supported, but you cannot pass KYC until it is.
- No workarounds: a VPN breaches KAST's terms, and KAST detects location by more than your IP address. Your ID and proof of address must fit your real country of residence.
- Pakistan: KAST does not publicly confirm that Pakistani residents can open accounts or get cards. It does confirm PKR payouts to Pakistani bank accounts.

How to check whether KAST supports your country
KAST's help article Is the KAST Card available in my country? (updated 2026-08-09) does not give a country list. Instead it tells you to look at the country dropdown during sign-up and identity verification. If your country of residence appears there, KAST is available to you; if it does not, KAST is not available in your country yet.
KAST's Terms and Conditions of Service (effective July 7, 2026) are the legal document behind this. Because there is no published list, any third-party "KAST supported countries" table is someone else's reading, not KAST's. The dropdown in the app is the check that counts.
VPN, ID and proof-of-address rules
Whether you pass KAST's KYC depends on where you are, which ID you hold and which country you declare. KAST's articles on VPNs and location and on restricted countries and IDs set out the rules:
- VPN: using a VPN to access KAST breaches its terms. KAST says it detects location using more than your IP address.
- ID from a restricted country: may fail KYC even if you live in a supported country.
- Dual citizens: if you hold an ID from a supported country, you may pass KYC with that document.
- Unsupported country: you can create an account, but you cannot pass KYC until your country is supported.
- Proof of address: KAST's proof-of-address article says the document must match your country of residence and be less than three months old.
KAST KYC levels and how long verification takes
KAST's verification levels article describes three levels. What you can do depends on the level you reach.
| Level | What you provide | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Basic details | The starting level; cards need Level 2 |
| Level 2 | ID document and selfie | KAST cards |
| Level 3 | Proof of address | The USD account and payouts |
On timing, KAST's KYC review article says automated review usually takes 10–15 minutes and a manual review 1–3 business days. If it takes longer, check the app for any message from KAST before contacting support.
KAST in Pakistan: what is and isn't confirmed
Not confirmed: KAST does not publicly confirm that Pakistani residents can open accounts or get cards, and it publishes no card tiers for Pakistan. Check the country dropdown during sign-up, as above. The KAST app is listed in Apple's Pakistan App Store, but store availability is not KYC eligibility.
Confirmed: sending money to Pakistan. KAST's PKR payouts article (updated 2026-07-15) and its launch post of July 15, 2026 describe payouts in Pakistani rupees to Pakistani bank accounts.
SAARC FIAT Fee Waiver (from October 7, 2026)
KAST's SAARC FIAT Fee Waiver article and promotion post describe a campaign that started on October 7, 2026 at 00:00 SGT and runs for 30 days, so until about November 6, 2026 (SGT). Your first single Instant Payout of $1,000 or more gets its transfer fee and FX cost refunded, up to $12. It is limited to one per user from a $5,000 total pool, SWIFT payouts are excluded, and rewards are credited by November 14, 2026 at 23:59 SGT. KAST names only "eligible markets", so check in the app that your payout corridor qualifies before relying on the refund.
Local presence: KAST held an iftar dinner in Lahore with Superteam Pakistan on February 28, 2026 (event recap). That shows interest in the market, not card eligibility.

Check the sign-up dropdown
If you want to see whether your country is listed, start the official sign-up and stop at the country step if it isn't there. For costs and rewards before you commit, see the KAST fees guide and the KAST card review.

FAQ
Which countries is the KAST card available in?
KAST does not publish a full country list. Its help centre says to check the country dropdown during sign-up and identity verification: if your country is listed, KAST is available there; if it is not listed, it is not available yet. You can create an account before your country is supported, but you cannot pass KYC until it is.
Can I get a KAST card in Pakistan?
KAST does not publicly confirm that Pakistani residents can open an account or get a card, and it publishes no card tiers for Pakistan, so check the sign-up country dropdown. What KAST does confirm is sending money to Pakistan: PKR payouts to Pakistani bank accounts via IBFT, with a 1% FX plus $2 fee, the first three payouts free, and payouts over $5,000 free. The app being listed in Apple's Pakistan App Store does not mean you can pass KYC.
Can I use a VPN or another country's ID to sign up for KAST?
No. KAST says using a VPN breaches its terms, and it detects location by more than your IP address. An ID issued by a restricted country may fail KYC even if you live in a supported country, although a dual citizen with an ID from a supported country may pass. Your proof of address must match your country of residence and be less than three months old.
How long does KAST KYC take?
KAST says automated review usually takes 10 to 15 minutes and a manual review 1 to 3 business days. Level 1 covers basic details, Level 2 adds your ID and a selfie and unlocks cards, and Level 3 adds proof of address for the USD account and payouts.
