Bleap is the lower published card-fee option for eligible EEA and Swiss users because Bleap charges no issuance, monthly, usage or exchange fee for card activity, although Mastercard, network, merchant, ATM and tax charges may still apply. Holyheld has one-time tier prices and clearer fixed international and ATM fees, plus 0.5% USDC cashback on Classic and Limited Edition or 1% on Metal. Cypher is closing and should not be considered for a new card.
What non-custodial does and does not mean
The wallet and the card transaction are different layers. Verify each layer on screen before authorizing a direct debit or converting assets to a fiat balance.

Cypher began winding down on July 8, 2026. Card loading is disabled, and new card applications and issuance have ended. Existing cards can be used only until August 7, 2026, when active cards are canceled. The mobile app, dApp, business platform, withdrawals and reward claims close on September 6, 2026. Existing users should stop sending funds to Cypher deposit addresses, withdraw remaining balances, claim available rewards, back up wallet recovery information and download transaction history before the final deadline.
How MetaMask Card and Gnosis Pay fit
Bleap and Holyheld are not the only wallet-first routes. MetaMask Card is useful when the official Card tab confirms your country, supported network, spending asset and card terms. Gnosis Pay links card use to a Safe Smart Account and has its own eligible-country and restricted-use rules. Compare those details in the dedicated MetaMask eligibility and fees guide and Gnosis Pay country guide rather than assuming every self-custody product has the same settlement model.
Verify the route before funding
A non-custodial label is not enough to price a card transaction.
Confirm residence, nationality, KYC, issuer approval and available card tier.
Identify the wallet debit, conversion step, fiat balance and third-party fees.
Make a small purchase and match wallet debit, settled card amount and reward.
